Campaign for the manufacturing industry

Re-Made in Sweden

This new campaign highlights Stena Recycling's collaboration with SKF – something that has led to SKF manufacturing bearings that contain significant amounts of recycled steel. In other words, SKF produces bearings that have been Re-Made in Sweden.

Our challenge was to communicate how Stena Recycling can help customers in the manufacturing industry to become more sustainable. Additionally, we wanted to show how Stena handle and sell all imaginable materials, returning valuable resources to the industry. This is all thanks to their expertise, their experience, and their smart recycling solutions. It highlights the strong business benefits of recycling, as well as helping to preserve the earth’s finite resources.

The solution was to show Stena Recycling's close cooperation with SKF – one of the world's leading manufacturers of bearings. By doing so, we could demonstrate exactly how fruitful this collaboration has been. We did this by using the familiar expression Made in Sweden, but with an added twist. The campaign theme has been used in conjunction with a stylish studio shot of a bearing, shown in a way normally associated with luxury product advertising.

One of the campaign's goals was to create advertising that SKF would also feel proud of, and would spread in their own social channels. We're happy to report that we achieved this.

The campaign consists of films on Stena Recycling's website and other digital channels, print ads and digital banners, social media posts, articles, native ads and advertorials.
