Hey Alice Lindow!

Back in 2009, a lot of exciting things happened. Bitcoin was created, Barack Obama became president of the USA and Alice Lindow started a blog. All events of equal significance of course.

But let’s focus on Alice in the year 2009. Sitting in her room, listening to Kent, spending endless hours on moody photo sessions and updating her new blog. It was here it all started. The interest in web and communication. An interest that grew bigger and eventually made her start studying Strategic Communication. And then educate herself further within Web Production. Is it all thanks to the start of her blog? Who knows. We’re just glad she did, because now Alice has joined Stendahls as our new Content Manager!

She’s being honest when she tells us that she had no interest in Stendahls at first. “It sounded boring and it looked boring. But after the interview at the office, I couldn’t stop thinking about the ad agency at Vasagatan 7. It just felt like the perfect place to be,” says Alice. And today, she feels exactly the same as she did after the interview. She’s already busy with work, “At the moment my main client is Husqvarna, but I also worked with a VR tool for Volvo Cars. I’m excited to see what else will end up in my lap” says Alice.

For Alice to blossom at Stendahls, she asks a few things in return “Kind and helpful colleagues, that’s all. And good fika. And a solid ‘göteborgsskämt” (Gothenburg joke) now and then. Then I’m all good”.

But what if Alice hadn’t started the blog? What other profession could Alice see herself in? “I love to be around people and children, so if the road had led in another direction I think I would be a teacher instead.”

Here I thought that I would weave in the previous answer to the lyrics from the song that Alice added to the Stendahls Spotify playlist. A song she added because it always gives her an energy kick whenever it’s needed. But after a quick google of the lyrics from Starry Night by Peggy Gou: 푸른 바다 보다 더 푸른 바다 같은, I think I’ll just skip that twist.
