Honourable mention at the Webby Awards

– The honourable mention sets the standard for innovation and creativity on the internet. It’s an incredible achievement to be picked as one of the best from the 12.000 we’ve received this year, says David-Michel Davies, head of the Webby Awards.

The 18th yearly Webby Awards received over 12.000 posts from 60 countries and 50 states in the US. Of all the 12.000 sent in contributions, less than 15% received this honour and an official honourable mention. My Volvo Magazine iPad is a new communication channel for Volvo Cars and aims at Volvo owners on 18 different markets all over the world. It’s a hybrid product between a digital customer magazine and a brochure, which creates an urge to buy through communicating customer benefits in Volvo’s deals without being pushy.

The idea behind the iPad magazine is to let car and owner act integrated with inspiring editorials and offers. My Volvo Magazine iPad has developed into an exciting digital channel that not only helps Volvo Cars to strengthen their customers relations, but that also works as an efficient aftersales platform. We have previously won Silver in The Swedish Design Awards for My Volvo Magazine iPad.
