Digital accessibility

With approximately 15% of the population affected by one or more disabilities, one of the best ways to maximize the impact of your digital service is to make it more accessible. New laws and regulations have led to increased awareness and higher demands, making digital accessibility an important success factor for all types of businesses.

Image 1 - Why

Why does it matter?

The existing accessibility laws, affecting the public sector, have been in effect since 2021. Since then, both the awareness and the customer expectations have increased, in the public as well as in the private sector.

In June 2025 the new laws affecting the private sector will be implemented, affecting e-commerce, banking, travel and other sectors. Affected businesses will need to ensure that their solutions are fully accessible and support interaction via different senses, not only sight but also hearing and touch.

“The more people can use your service, the more impact it can create.”

Image 2 - How

How to make it work

Getting started with accessibility can feel overwhelming, not least since there are many different requirements to comply with. The good news is that there are many different potential starting points, you can for example start with visual accessibility by checking contrasts. Or start with motor accessibility by using only a keyboard to navigate your solution.

We don’t view accessibility as binary, but as something that can be improved in many different ways. All improvements matter, and with our impact-driven and iterative approach we can help you get started and keep going to make your solutions more sustainable and robust.
